Hi, I'm new to the community, and just recently started posting any of my things online (which is kind of a bummer concidering it meant that when my computer crashed a few months ago, I lost all my previous Glee Rants. But ya know... what can you do?)  (: I hope to dig some of them up later though.

Anywho, my rant...

Episodes Relavent for this post: up to S04E03

I have a great many feels about Kurt, NYADA, and the treatment of Fashion here that I just had to express. You can find the rant at my livejournal:  http://anansispidergod.livejournal.com/762.html . Please give it a read and tell me what you think.

Uh yeah, I actually only set out to write an episode reaction, but instead it turned into a longwinded meta analysis of the David - Kurt relationship...Idek

So if anyone is interested in it, my thoughts on it, based on todays episodes, meaning, massive spoilers for "Heart" under the cut as well as a disclaimer, that I'm not a Kurtofsky shipper, but I don't hate on anyones preferences and I hope you will extend me the same curtesies ;)

Why I don't think Kurtofksy would work in canonCollapse )
oh and mods I just went ahead and tagged this with some new tags, I hope I didn't do anything wrong with it

I wrote a "mini thesis" on what would happen if, instead of Sebastian coming along to try & get in Blaine's pants come between Blaine & Kurt, the Season 3 "Klaine villain" pursued Kurt, instead. (For extra meta, Chris Colfer himself has said "Why doesn't anyone go after Kurt?!")

I, clearly, am a fan of Klaine. Also, I'm a fan of crack, which is how this came up in the first place. But I think I'm pretty fair to all characters involved (except Ryan Murphy). Please, give it a read, here at my journal, and discuss/tell me what you think!

Dammit, I missed a day. Sorry guys, RL = cray times.

SO LET'S DISCUSS THE BIG PINK ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM: Sexuality on Glee. How well does RIB handle the spectrum? Do you feel represented? Screwed over? Talk! OH AND a preemptive strike: not everyone who watches Glee or who will discuss issues here IDs on the LGBTQ spectrum; if you do, be patient with language and seek to educate, not flame.

Face it, this cast and crew are linked up. They've called out ships on the show. Spent the first 10 minutes of S2 discussing fandom's complaints. Kevin has admitted to trolling ohnotheydidnt ; Cory reads fanfic, and you know Chris writes it (Shirley Todd, anyone?). Does it make you uncomfortable? Change your fandom behaviour in any way? Let's discuss the Fourth Wall and the shards this show leaves it in.

The Cheerios' Master Cleanse. Sam's abs. Mercedes' Beautiful. Quinn's fear of stretch marks. Finn's tighty whiteys. Kurt's pear hips. Santana's boobs. Rachel's nose. This week on glee_meta, body issues, eating disorders, and Glee. Let's discuss.

Welcome to hiatus, Metas! Before we get into all the stuff that makes us crazy about this show, I thought it would be nice to spend a week remembering why we watch it and what we love about it. So tell us: WHAT DO YOU LOVE?? Show your work in gif  form when possible!
